Storyboarding

     Creating the storyboard for our film was a challenging, yet exciting experience. The learning outcomes can include the development of creative and critical thinking skills, team, time management, planning skills, enhanced writing, and artistic skills (O'brien, 2005). This proved to be correct, as one of the main points of challenge for me was sketching the scenes for our film. Since I am not a very good artist, it proved to be a difficult task. Nevertheless, it was a fun experience to learn how to do that properly.     

    From the work done through the storyboard, my partner, Grace, and I work more efficiently. There were a few points of trouble in our endeavors though. Storyboarding is flexible. It is comprehensive. . . And it allows a group to generate a lot of ideas. . . Its only major drawback is that it takes a lot of time (Higgins, 1995). The time was not in our favor as we had to throw away a few attempts during the sketches of the storyboard. However, we made it successfully to the end with almost zero changes to our initial portfolio project refinement.
